General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
If you are elderly then from history it seems that you might be having cervical osteoartheritis producing neck muscle stiffness.
Go for x-ray cervical spines.
After report go for short way diathermy, physiotherapy as advised by your orthopedic surgeon.
Ok and take care.
