Understanding your concern. As per your query you have stiffness and pain in the knee . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like like Chondromalacia, Bursitis, Patellar Tendonitis, Arthritis, Osteochondritis, Ton Meniscus. I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, CT Scan , blood tests, electromyogram etc as per suspected cause can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly. You can be advised to take anti-inflammatory painkillers, muscle relaxants, warm or cool compresses depending upon the cause, physiotherapy to relieve and strengthen the muscles and weight loss .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
