Suggest Treatment For Sticky Discharge From The Nipple
About a month ago I noticed discharge from my nipple. I noticed it was sticky and when I squeezed it, the discharge actually "shot" out. There have only been about 3 or 4 times when it has done that and others only drops come out. I am only noticing it when I do squeeze my nipple. I went to the Doctor last week and he has scheduled me a Mamogram for the end of this month. It is ONLY coming out of one nipple and one duct. It is clear and a little sticky. I am a 31 yr old who smokes, no drugs and very rarely has a drink. No breast cancer in the family that I know of.
I can't get in to see the specialist and it's driving me nuts waiting... I am concerned. I have done alot of research on the internet and so far all I have really found is that it's not a good sign when it's only coming out of one breast and one duct.
Did blood work last week. I am not pregnant, thyroid is normal and prolactin level is normal ( 13.5).
WHat could this be? and am I freaking myself out for nothing?
