My brother has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and cancer in his omentum. they cannot do surgery and he is not a canidate at this time for clinical trial med s as he has a high liver count which he is being tested for hep B. What do you believe his chances are at beating this? they have started him today on chemo pill form

The only good treatment available for it is the chemo pill known as sorafenib which is effective in 40 percent of the patients. The average survival will be around 9 months if the patient responds to it.
