Virginal discharge with fishy odor. Consulted doctor and was prescribed clotrizomic 500mg pessary for one time insertion. On day 3, I started to have light pinkish discharge, then gradually accompanied by traces of blood stains. On day 7, im experiencing adnormal vaginal bleeding. May I seek your advise what is going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

If you have any bleeding from your vagina this may be caused by the pessary rubbing and cause grazing or an ulcer within your vagina.
If this happens, your pessary will have to be removed for a while, to allow the grazing to heal.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
