Suggest Treatment For Spider Bite Causing Open Sore With Severe Itching

Hello, what is the best treatment for a brown recluse spider bite. I have a nickel size open sore, a lot of redness and itching. Hospital diagnosed and advised to take benedryl, but I cannot do this during the week because of my work requirements. Wondering if you have any suggestions or medications that may help. Also, what should I watch for in case I need further treatment.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain brown recluse spider is considerably poisonous and can cause severe localized allergic reaction and seems to be the cause in your case.
As it is an open sore chances of getting it infected are also high..
In case of you are unable to take anti allergics due to side effects like drowsiness you can take steroids after prescription with an Allergist and along with it a short course of antibiotics to prevent infection.
Topical application of Steroid ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment and cold compresses will relieve..
