Suggest Treatment For Sphincter Of Oddi Dysfunction Type 3 And Fever

Hi i have been diagnosed with spincter of oddi dysfunction type 3 and have an ercp and had spincterotomy 3 yrs ago with out a stint placed! Well I have has severe pain and naseousness with fevers on and off for awhile! Should I be concerned? I am thinking having fevers on and off can t be a good sign?! Thanks for your help!

Hello,

I think you should get evaluated immediately. You can wait for a day or too thinking for a gastrointestinal tract infections and that it will get better soon. If you continue with these symptoms after 3 days contact your doctor. Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever.
