Suggest Treatment For Sores In The Mouth And Cheek Bone

I've had cold sores and or canker sores in my mouth for the last few weeks. They are gone now from my lips and inside or the cheek. Now it is in the upper part ot my mouth where the cheek bones are and there is what looks like pus in this area. I've been rinsing my mouth for the last few weeks with a salt and or hydrogen peroxide solution that helps with the pain. I'm concerned about the pus now. What do you advise?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain canker sores or cold sores can occur in mouth and cheeks but pus is not formed by them that too at the area of cheekbones..
There is a possibility that you have got an infected tooth leading to formation of dental abscess in any of the upper tooth..
It can also be due to infection in sinuses also known as Sinusitis..
In case if there is a dental infection or sinusitis, it will not get resolved without medications and treatment and only warm saline gargles will not resolve the problem..
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planed accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and in case of tooth decay treatment of the tooth will be advised to relieve the symptoms..
