Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Fingernails

I am experiencing sorness around fingernails bed, I do have some concerns about it. I also, have been for a couple months experiencing acks all over my body. Everytime I sit for a minute or so, five minute or more it takes me a few seconds to adjust, it is almost like I have to wobble before I can walk. I am 5 4 at 137.8lbs, quit smoking 16months ago. No alcohol for 24 years not drugs. I do have high blood pressure, not diabetc. Are the acking of my nail bed a symptom of something wrong?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
Your description matches with that.
Soreness and damage to finger nails is a feature of fungal infection.
Usually fungal infections are recurrent
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Treatment must be continued for at least 6 months to prevent recurrance.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
