Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Ear

Hi My son is complaining of a sore ear and I just put a ear cleaner in there and this greenish liquid is over the tip not yellow. He is saying it fills like his ear inside is getting bigger like a balloon. I have given him some penicillian to maybe help if there is an infection but still confused and a bit worried what I need to do??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that ear soreness along with greenish liquid seems to be due to Ear infection and fluid inside the ear seems to be due to infection..
Feeling of balloon in the ear seems to be due to fluid inside the ear..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do an Otoscopic examination to confirm the cause..
He can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and Oral and nasal decongestants..
Antibiotic and analgesic ( painkiller) eardrops will also be advised..
Avoid picking of ear as well as do not get excess water exposure like swimming..
