Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Stiffness In Neck

slipped down 4-5 stairs and neck whipped back - heard a click - now i am sore in my neck - limited movement backwards and just stiff and sore - even in the front of neck if press more sore/tender than back - when i lay flat down i feel i am stuck and can t get back up - don t want to overreact to symptoms and rush for xray if just whiplash symptoms etc - please advise - it has been over 24 hours now

Hi welcome to health care magic . After going through your query I think there is muscle spasm at neck. You need hot fomentation, analgesics , rest for some days . When pain goes you require physiotherapy exercises. Hope your query has been answered . Thanks .
