Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Pain In The Ankle Post An Injury

I fainted this morning and fell on the stone floor of my house, and after that my ankle was sore and hurt to move. Now my knee hurts to extend and my ankle is fine. I can’t really put weight on my knee. My question: should I go see a doctor about my knee and fainting?

Hi,

The symptoms are suggestive of contusion or sprain following the trauma.

As the first line of management, you can try analgesic/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase combination for symptomatic relief. Apply ice packs too.

It symptoms persist, better to consult an orthopedician and go for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain,
