according to me too much of reflux causes soreness in throat too.Instead of
omeprazole you can start taking pantoprazol,twice a day.So far as your husband's eating habit is concerned, all I want to say is that you have to improve the eating life style of your better half. he should not indulge into too much of oily and spicy foods. Exercising is good but body needs to be fed after exercise to make up its
glucose demands. Try to start up on oats, sprouts, nut, salads and milk products in the breakfast and lunch should constitute a balanced food(chapatis, rice, dal,vegetables). ask your husband to take light dinner followed by a walk for at least half an hour
Since your husband takes lots of
stress too then for your knowledge I must say that stress do increases the acid secretion in stomach which in turn causes reflux. In this case
yoga for half an hour is advisable. And if further the symptoms won't go off then kindly consult an gastroentologist.
