Suggest Treatment For Sore Painful Lump Near Clitoris
About two years ago I had a little lump undee the skin on the left side of my clit.. It went away and came back over the course of 2 months. Hadn t seen or felt anything abnormal since. Recently, it has come back. It s not painful but sore if I touch it. Also, if o squeeze it I feel sometjjng pop almost. Again, sore not painful. If I don t touch it in barely notice it. Could I possibly have contracted a diseaSe, or cancer?
The swelling can be due to infection or overgrowth of tissue in that area which can be due to viral, bacterial cause. I suggest you get it checked by a gynecologist as it needs to be examined by a doctor to see what type of growth or swelling is it.
Depending on that, if needed the doctor will suggest some tests or biopsy of the swelling to see the exact nature of it and cells involved in it.
Cancer is very less likely related to such type of swellings. It can be a cyst but again a physical examination is needed to know the exact cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar
