Suggest Treatment For Sore Lymph Nodes In Throat

I have had strep throat, bronchitis and sinusitis in the last month. I have had glandular fever in the past. I now have incredibley sore glands/lymph nodes in my throat, either side of my wind pipe and it hurts to move my tongue and stick my tongue out and to swallow.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems the there is inflammation and swelling in the lymph nodes and as you have a recent history of infection it seems that the swollen lymph nodes are secondary to infection and you need to consult an Oral Physician or an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and a biopsy of the lymph nodes if neede can be done for confirmation..
He can advise you to take antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and do warm compresses over the lymph nodes..
Do warm saline gargles and take ample of rest.
As tongue movement is painful you can take a soft diet to relief discomfort..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
