I drank too much alcohol and threw up (a lot) the other day, my left tonsil has been soar since then. I finally looked in my mouth with a mirror and light... the left tonsil looks much smaller and looks like it might be missing a piece of flesh. What does that mean and what should I do (if anything).
It is not like that missing tonsil and all. Probably you may develop pharyngitis which may lead to pain. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use salt water gargling and water vapor inhalation. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
