General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
That is surely just a an inflammatory reaction to the injury.Wound healing can evolve to give rise to funny scars like hypertrophic scars and keloids but it is still too early for such to be noticed in your cases. The lump is most likely inflammatory reaction to the injury.I will suggest you take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen. You may also see your Doctor to examine the place for an infection if you were not on prophylactic antibiotics. The need for an anti-tetanus immunization may be considered if your status is not up to date.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
