Suggest Treatment For Small Bumps On The Lips

Hello, a few weeks ago I applied lipstick and afterwards, few tiny bumps appeared on my lips. Within 3 days, the bumps went away. However the next day, my lips were extremely dry, itchy and burning. Later that day, i saw a few dark spots in my lips. Within the next few days, my lips have gone completely dark. Its been almost 2 weeks now. What to do to get my lips to its natural color fast Thank you.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Dear Madam
you seem to have developed an allergy to one of the constituents of lipstick. The first thing to do is to stop its use. allow the lesions to heal by themselves while you are taking anti allergics and seek medical pinion id necessary. Once the upper ;layer of skin of your lips peel off, most likely normal looking skin should start showing up. Keep your lips slightly moistened and lubricated for comfort and use some steroid cream just to control severe itching but only on SOS basis. protect the affected area from sunlight, hot and sour foods and harsh chemicals. within a few days, you should get back to normal. At that stage you can go for a test called Patch test to confirm the cause of allergy, All the best
