Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

The skin tag might be due to tear in the palatal mucous following the injury and the torn mucosa is inflamed leading to pain..

You need not to worry as it is nothing serious and it will either be removed by sloughing off itself and if it will not take her to Paediatician and he will remove it by cutting it off after applying anaesthetic gel..

As of now apply numbing gel over it for relief from pain..
You can also give her Tylenol for pain relief..
Feed her with a soft and cool diet to prevent further irritation..
Maintain a good oral hygiene ..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
