Suggest Treatment For Skin Peeling After Facial Bleaching

hi doctor.nearly 3 months back i did facial bleaching.maybe i used a little activator extra i applied the facial bleach and after the required time i washed my face.then accidently i rubbed the bridge of my nose and few layers of skin came off!! Then i applied neosporin and after few days a scab formed which shed revealing pink skin.It then got infected.A derm gave me mumate-m cream which i used for 2-3 days only.later another derm gave me nadifloxacin 1 percent cream which i used for a month.though the infection subsided but my skin on nose is thin with tiny blood vessels visible on close inspection.another doctor prescribed me aloederm and vitamin c tablets which i am using for a month but my skin in not becoming normal.when will it thicken up and what actually went wrong.will it heal or this is permenant.it has been nearly three months now.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to the forum.

I can comprehend your concern for the present situation and quite empathetic to same.

It gives the impression from your query that you got chemical burns due to bleach..

I do not recommend you to any home treatment. I suggest you to visit your family physician so that a mild steroid cna be prescribed to you.

Till that time you can do cold compression (not hot one).

Stay away form direct sunlight and do not touch your face too often.

Hope this information will help you.

My best wishes for good health.
