Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Boniva
Do any of the following drugs counter-act one another? My 80-year old sister, who has been taking Boniva the past year and has suffered numerous side effects - including tooth extractions, muscle and joint pain, and vision problems. Clonazepam Tramadol Vitamin D – 50000 units per week Xarelto Pravastatin sodium Carvedilol Hydrochloride thiazide Boniva Amiodarone Ramipril Levothyroxine sodium She also has a pacemaker for a-fib.... should she stop using the Boniva?

Elderly patients are often on several medications, which often causes problems, so it is always a good idea to check for any interactions that might make things worse.
In your sister's case, there are no serious interactions between the medications she is taking, including the Boniva.
However, I would be careful especially with the Clonazepam and tramadol, which can affect her level of consciousness and cause drowsiness and sedation.
Otherwise, I would just be aware of any symptoms that start and when they do, check with her doctor about whether one of her medications could be responsible.
