Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Amitiza
I m an 88yr old women have had constipation troubles for years. My doctor recommend amitiza and I have taking 24mg 2 times a day (1 at breakfast and 1 with my supper)for about a month. It is working, but recently I have been expiriencing some tightness on my chest, weakness in my legs, and fatigue which last for about 20-30 min. In the morning only, after I have had my breakfast. Could this be caused by the amitiza ???

Happy to know that Amitizia has helped you with constipation problem but is important to know some adverse effects of Amitizia: nausea, vomiting,diarrhea,dizziness,loose or watery stools headache,abdominal pain,hot flush, dyspnea,stomach discomfort, syncope, upper abdominal pain, anorexia, asthenia, chest discomfort, dry mouth, hyperhidrosis, skin irritation;
As any of these side effects may appear meanwhile you are using this medication, is important that you make this known to your doctor and he may decide to continue or stop you from receiving Amitizia.
