General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of multiple problems like nose filled with clusters of blisters, pericarditis, partial thyroid, phlebitis of veins, pulmonary embolism and Shingles recently.
All these diseases have to be considered simply to solve one by one problems.
Shingles which you have mentioned as major problem can be self limiting as this is purely viral and antiviral treatment is indicated only in the initial stages of the disease.
Hence the option is just management of Post-herpetic (Shingle) pain management with medicines like Amitriptyline or gabapentin.
I hope the pulmonary embolism problem is ruled out.
The blisters in nose could have been due to Herpes Zoster that is also called as Shingles.
Get the hormonal status as there is a history of phlebitis of veins and pulmonary embolism.
Consult your Doctor for Special treatment and referral if required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
