Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 37 y/o and has had multiple episodes of what he thought was mosquito bites and after scratching the areas later became swollen. He went to one Dr. that said it was shingles and gave Rx. The the different episodes were in different areas left side @ belt line, sometime later right side @ belt line. He has had his left arm swell & another time his lower back. Now he is telling me he had a spot on his thumb yesterday & now his hand is swollen & another spot on his lower back that he says is now 10x what it was yesterday. His Dr. gave him Rx antibiotic, took blood & did a urine test, results tomorrow. I am an RN and this is something I have never heard of.
