Suggest Treatment For Shingles Skin Infection

I think I may have shingles. I have gone through the sign and symptoms and have had most of them. When I went to the doctor he said was a rash and told me to put on a medicated powder like the ones you use for athletes foot. This stuff only burns whatever I have and is doesn t seem to helping only making things worse. Do you have any suggestions

well, without A picture it is very difficult to make or rule out a diagnosis of shingles also known as herpes zoster.
Is the lesion present only on one side of the body?
Shingles may present with blisters and a red rash which is very painful or it may present with A lingering burning sensation which is again quite painful. In both the cases the treatment will be different.
