Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In The Pelvic Area
I ve been to the Dr multiple times because of these sharp stabbing pains in my pelvic area and I also pee myself throughout the day. No one can tell me what it could possibly be considering I m only 20. It gets so bad I can t even move! Wbc is fine. Thyroids are fine. Liver is fine. Not pregnant and don t have any kids.
The commonest causes at your age are as following: - Appendicitis - Salpingitis - Twisting of ovarian cyst - Entero-colitis - PID that is pelvic inflammatory disease
This can be diagnosed by consulting a general surgeon for clinical evaluation. Second opinion of a gynecologist if asked for. Tests of blood, urine and stool. Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis. CT scan to confirm or get detailed diagnosis. All these will give a proper diagnosis and thus a proper management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
