Suggest Treatment For Sexual Dreams

my mother came to visit me 2 nights ago and was acting strange. last night she broke down and said that she had been raped almost two weeks ago in her home, she was asleep on her stomach on the bed face down and woke up to a knee on her back and her head showed into a pillow. she has been to ashamed to tell anyone and did not see the rapist. She has not been to the dr. either. what should I do?

I read your question carefully. I am a little unclear because in the headline you say sexual dreams, but the way you describe it later sounds real, not sure whether you believe your mother or think it is a dream.

If you believe it then she should by all means see a doctor, in order to be tested for a sexually transmitted disease. Depending on her age if she still has her menstrual cycle a pregnancy test is needed as well. Also a psychologist or psychiatrist evaluation would be necessary to help her cope.

If it was a dream then only the psychiatric evaluation is necessary.

I hope to have been of help.
