I m detoxing from alcohol and throw up for a long period of time between 5 and 10 minutes mostly liquid and some bloody phlegm . Pounding headaches, I ve been drinking for almost 6 days. Prior to that I had stopped for a month. I want to stop but I can t get through losing my adult son a year and a half ago. Looking for help Terry
Desire for alcohol can become a disease that requires treatment like any other medical condition. The body develops tolerance and dependence on the alcohol.
It can be very difficult to stop and even more difficult to try and stop on your own. You need to try to assess help.
There are organizations that would provide support around you to help you to successfully stop drinking. These organizations such as AA, may also provide grief counselling and managing.
You need to consider reaching out to someone for help.
