Suggest Treatment For Severe Vomiting, Cough And Cold In A Child

Hi doctor, my daughter 4yrs old got repeated fevers on11th June once again after 15days once again now on 11th July still fever cough, cold, fever is there. I went to doctor on 11th June she has given calpol I had given for 4days fever has gone again after 15days she got fever had given the same calpol which doctor has prescribed lost time. Fever has gone after 4days.again now she got fever, cold, cough.. I went to doctor she has prescribed calpol, capodem, levocetrizendihydrocloride and Montelukast sodium suspension. This time when I started giving medicine I have observed motion smelling very badly and vomiting some times, with brown color once I am very much upset. Never happened to her like this all at once.. Pls suggest

Hello,

Symptoms your child currently has can be due to variety if bacterial infection. For vomiting antiemetic syrup can help. I would suggest you to continue the medicines given by your doctor.

If the symptoms persist, I would suggest you get some blood tests done like widal, MPDA, CBC with ESR to know the exact reason behind the recurrent symptoms your child is having. Let the doctor see the results and after that appropriate treatment will be done for quick recovery.
