Suggest Treatment For Severe Stabbing Pain In The Buttock
Hi I have pain in the top of my bum there is no bruising lumbs or bumps and I have not injured myself but the piano is terrible when sitting standing walking lying pain is always there but I am finding it difficult to get up from sitting as pain is so bad when trying to get up

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sciatic nerve, sacroiliac joint dysfunction , arthritis , bursitis and coccydynia . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI , x-ray or physical examination by asking you to do certain movements . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory and vitamin supplement for quick healing . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy and stretching exercises . For now take proper rest and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
