General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Chronic hepatitis C viral infection can lead to decreased number of platelets ultimately leading to easy bruisability and increased bleeding tendency. There's nothing to prevent but there is a solution. Platelets need to be transfused to stop these problems. But again they provide a temporary relief. Please consult a medical specialist in your nearby hospital for platelets transfusion.
Take care & thank you for asking at healthcare magic.
