Suggest Treatment For Severe Sinus Infection

I m a female, age 78, weigh 113 pounds, and am 4 11 . Recently I had cataract surgery in my right eye and suffered a bout of sinusitis within a couple of days after the surgery. I will be having surgery on my right eye in the next month or so. Is it safe to have the surgery if I still have the sinus infection at that time? I also must mention that I am totally addicted to Afrin nasal spray. At the moment, the right side of my nasal cavity and top teeth on that side are extremely sensitive...even to the point of throbbing at times. Are all the events related or separate problems? Should I postpone the second cataract surgery until my sinuses have healed? Never mind...I thought it was a free service.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your concerns.
This may be due to the varied tooth casing sinusitis.
This is confirmed by a C T scan of the sinuses including the teeth.
A visit to the Dentist and an ENT as a combined approach should help you to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
Next cataract surgery is not done till this is cleared.
