Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder Pain

mild to moderate shoulder pain in anterior of right shoulder. Had labrum tear several years ago and had surgery. This pain is more of an ache and have reasonably good ROM. Seems to be deltoid injury more than joint injury. Play tennis or swim nearly every day. Likely an over use injury. Rest and ice seems to improve but then as soon as I return to activity it begins to ache again. Any other suggestions or thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain is mainly due to muscle spasm likely deltoid. But get cray of the shoulder done and get Orthopedic review. Till then hot packs and over the counter painkillers like acetaminophen and ibuprofen will help. Consult physiotherapist for proper exercises.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
