Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder Pain

I m a veteran I have medical through the VA I fell down the stairs JAN 9 I injured my left shoulder with very little movement in my arm with less than 45% lift straight out from my side position. The VA finally scheduled me an MRI 27Feb adding to inflamed they did x-rays no broken bones nothing out of socket is it possible to get an infection?

Hello.
I have studied your case and I do not think that you have shoulder infection. I think there is more chances of cuff tear or fluid accumulation.So I would suggest you to get MRI of the shoulder joint to make sure if there is any nerve compression or arthropathy which is causing such pain.
If there is nerve compression in the neck than cervical spondylitis can also give rise to such symptoms.
You may need physiotherapy of surgery of the shoulder joint accordingly. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
