Suggest Treatment For Severe Right-sided Pain In Head And Pressure In Eyes

I woke up with a headache this morning. It has progressed to severe pain to the right side of my head. Movement makes it worse and I can feel pressure to the rear of my right eye. I am 7 months pregnant so I am sealing with the pain without medication. What could this be?

Hi,

You should get your blood pressure checked, are you sleeping well at night? This could lead you to have headaches, do you have a problem of hyperacidity - heartburn. It can lead to you to have headaches, sometimes pregnancy can itself cause you to have headaches due to the hormonal changes. If you are stressed or overworking a lot, it can lead you to have headaches. Hence, I would suggest you need to see your obstetrician for further check up.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,

A few probable causes of your headache are migraine headache, sinusitis, tension headache, or preeclampsia. The last cause that is preeclampsia is dangerous condition in pregnancy which requires immediate medical attention. It is accompanied by high blood pressure sometimes vomiting, excessive swelling of your face, feet and arms. Please do consult your gynecologist immediately to arrive at a specific diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
