Hello,

This kind of pain, in this region, is most of the times intercostal muscle pain, neurological pain or pleural pain, but rarely is by serious pathology like TEP.

If this pain gets no better by AINS like Paracetamol or Ketoprofen, a Chest-RX must be done and some time biochemical analysis like D-Dimmere and Angio-CT.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Sonela Suxho, Pathologist and Microbiologist
