Hi I had fracture my femur bone while taken boniva then actonel for five years.i WENT to the er the er doctor only took a xray of my knee and told me i had carlidge damange i then went to my ra doctor who sent me to a orth doctor who only took a xray of my knee.HE said in ten days he would get a mri. Within a few days i had two more fractures before my femur bone completely broke in half' I had a very involve surgery having to have a rod put in my leg.My surgeon told me i had to get off these medications or i would break my other femur bone. My life has change in so many horriable ways I have to use a walker I am always in pain with this rod I cant do all the things i use to do My surgeon said i am not god god did not put this rod in you. He hit it on the nail
