So I changed the tablet by taking Althrocin 500 after breakfast, lunch and dinner, Its been one and a half day . Today when I woke up I noticed severe pain in my chest. Please tell me if this is okay. I had same kind of problem 6 months ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to upper respiratory tract infection.

For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with chest physician.

He may procure complete hemogram, chest X Ray, electrocardiogram as per evaluation.

You may require antibiotics after consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You can take cough syrup containing levocetrizine and phenylephrine otc.

Watch for symptoms like fever, breathing difficulty

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
