Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Shoulder

This past Friday evening, I lifted a piece of furniture that was too heavy. The next day I had a lot of pain in my shoulder blade and I knew I had pulled a muscle. My back pain is better but I think that I must have stretched some stomach muscles because of the terrible back pain I had. Is this possible? My stomach muscles feel tight and sore to the touch.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you are having muscular spasms secondary to heavy weight lifting.

Try taking over the counter painkillers like paracetamol and NSAIDs for pain relive. warm compressions and massage will help too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
