Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Caused By Epididymitis

My father in law has epididymis for 3 months now. That s not is only health problem, but right now it is really upsetting him. Because every time he gets up to walk the pain starts. He is on antibiotics for several weeks now. Ice does help him . Any suggestions

I understand your concern.
Epididymitis is infection of epididymis. It needs to be treated by means of taking a course of antibiotics, antiinflammatory medications and use of conservative management in the form of applying ice packs and giving adequate scrotal support.
In case the response to antibiotics is not proper, a change in the antibiotic is recommended as the response could be poor due to resistance by the organisms.
Kindly consult your doctor for evaluation and proper management.
