Suggest Treatment For Severe Neck Pain

Last couple of months i had a pain which started in my neck. Then the next week it moved to my left shoulder. Then my arm then it would move to the inside of my left arm. Then for a week or so it started up the inside of it and moved up into my arm pit and tightened up across my chest til my heart felt like it was being squeezed. It has gone away but for a few times it started to really hurt bad. Now this month i had a seizure last week where i passed out did the funky chicken and stuff. Are these important?

Hello,

Nack pain, shoulder pain, left arm pain, chest pain, loss of consciousness, may be a signal of an injury that needs treating or, in the worst case, a symptom of a heart problem.

Brief Answer: Detailed Answer: You can usually treat your shoulder or neck pain without having to see your doctor.

If, after two weeks of treating yourself, you feel the pain isn’t any better you should see your doctor as soon as possible if you develop pain in left arm and chest, also loss of consciousness.

Left arm pain is one of the most common symptoms of a heart problem. The nerves stemming from the heart and those coming from the arm send signals to the same brain cells.

This means that the brain is confused about the source of the pain. This phenomenon, called referred pain, explains why a person experiencing a heart attack might feel arm pain without having chest pain.

Advise: See your doctor as soon as possible if sudden left arm pain worsens over the course of a few minutes, or is combined with any of symptoms like nack pain, shoulder pain, chest pain, loss of consciousness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
