Suggest Treatment For Severe Migraine

I have really severe migraines, and my neurologist prescribed me a blood pressure medication to help treat them. My blood pressure is already on the low side and the pharmacist explained to me that the medication would potentially drop my blood pressure a little. I vebeen taking the medication for almost two weeks now and for the past week and a half i have been feeling off. Is it possible that it is due to the medication and at what point should I worry that maybe my blood pressure has dropped to low?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you see your neurologist again. Please do not go with the advise given by your pharmacist because the advise given is just by listening to your external problems. Usually doctors take many physical and organic conditions before prescribing any medicines to their patient. I still feel, your neurologist did not do any mistakes by prescribing blood pressure medications. That is also another way of treatment approach. Your neurologist will be able to provide you better explanation why he has done this. Regarding your feeling "low", it could be due to the information you got from your pharmacist and the information could be making you obsessive with your 'blood pressure' thoughts. Please consult your neurologist again.
