On Saturday afternoon/evening, I had the worst migraine of my life. After taking Excedrin migraine, the headache subsided. But overnight, I was awakened with an awful stomach ache. I ve had issues with gall stones in the past. My gall bladder was removed 21 years ago, but I still suffer with the sludge pains occasionally. This pain was similar, but it never grew to be the acute pain that I have experienced with gall bladder. It is sharp/stabbing, but burns at the same time and radiates through to my back. The pain is located right in the knotch between my ribs. It is very tender to touch. I tried taking tums. They did not help at all. I took some pepto bismal last night, which seems to soothe it for a little while. I have taken pepto bismal 4 or 5 times since 11 pm last night. The pain is still there and is moderate to severe. If I stay still, it will dissipate to a less moderate pain. I also have an upset stomach boarding on outright nausea. The pain has been nearly non-stop since about 2 am on Sunday morning. What do you recommend?
