Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back Pain

I woke up 3weeks ago with severe lower back pain, than it started to hurt in my right leg and bottom, now my 2nd toe is numb, 2 years ago prior to this I had steroid shots and surgery ( no disc replacement, like cleaning around the disc). Now I am waking up from pain and when I get up, it is unbearable, ice helps a little.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a sciatica pain.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest using prescription medication such as Steroids.

I recommend physical therapy and gentle exercises.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contappct me again.

Kind regards!
