I am having significant leg pain primarily when lying in bed at night to the extent that it keeps me up for substantial portions of each night. It is usually in the same location on my left inner leg just above the knee in a fairly concentrated area. It seems to be progressively getting worse. It used to only bother me after a strenuous workout, now it happens whether I work out or not. Sometimes it also bothers me during the day when I m moving around but now to the extent of the pain that develops when I m lying down in bed. The pain sometimes moves around to various locations in my left leg and even sometimes in my right leg. However, 90% of the time it s in the specific location of my left leg mentioned above. The fact that it is getting progressively worse and is starting to dramatically impact the quality of my sleep causes me to stop ignoring it (this has been going on for over a year with the impact keeping me up at night for the past few months) and investigate what might be the cause.
