Suggest Treatment For Severe Joint Pain

i have sever pain in my joints. it has been coming and going on for about ten weeks and each flair up last longer and hurts more. Mainly my right shoulder is the worse. Now other joints are starting to hurt. The pain this time is nauseating and debilitating. I spent most of today in bed. My right arm is almost unusual

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like arthritis , mumps , aseptic meningitis , cold exposure , gout and viral syndrome . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , examine physically and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir along with anti pyretic and analgesics . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if there will be mumps or any other condition related to upper respiratory track infection or orthopedic surgeon , who may order urine test , blood test and physical examination and prescribe allopurinol , methotrexate.
