Hi....mi have notice in the last month that my skin has gotten very thin, I itched my arm and I ripped off skin! I am 54 year old female. If I bump something it s liked I rammed into something instant deep red, like blood under the skin. I am freaked out!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe itchiness and redness on the arm which seems to be due to environment , heat , cold, pressure and sun exposure. It is the body's response to the trigger factor. Need not to worry. The most important thing is to find the trigger factor. Stop using any cosmetics or beauty products. Stay in cool environment. I would suggest you to give cold compresses to itchy area several times a day to prevent from swelling and itching and take over the counter antihistamine drug like benadryl. If symptoms still persists the consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may perform skin test and challenge to find out the trigger factor. Doctor may prescribe other steroid cream, anti inflammatory drug or drugs that can suppress immune system.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
