General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
There are three situations where you have episodic right sided head ache
one being trigeminal neuralgia
other being temporal arteritis
and tension headaches.
the treatment depends upon the cause of your head ache
according to your symptoms i am more in favour of trigeminal neurralgia
attend to some yoga and meditation classes to relieve your stress.
have adequate water intake.
this will prevent tension headaches.
check your blood pressure and sight.
in my opinion carbamazipine will be the first choice if i suspect trigeminal neuralgia. as it is a prescription based medicine consult your physician

hope this explains
with regards
Dr.Amarnath
