Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache While Experiencing Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

Morning, I have a HB level of 6.1 after heavy periods in the last few months. It was a gradual slow blood loss over time. Will ferinject iron infusion be enough to rectify the problem?I have no cardiac or other chronic conditions. Sats of 97% pulse 88bpm. Not short of breath, only severe headaches. Age 44. Thank you.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

I can understand your concern....

You are having severe anemia... And headache is because of that...

I want your peripheral smear examination report...

If mirocytic hypochromic anemia than serum ferritin done to rule out iron deficiency anemia...

For which iron transfusion given..
If you provide your weight than dose I can calculate accordingly...
After parentral therapy oral iron tablet continued..

If PS shows macrocytic picture than b12 level checked and treated with b12 injections I. M.

Take care

With improvement of your anemia your headache will improved...

Hope this will help

Take care..

Happy to help you further
