Suggest Treatment For Severe Gastrointestinal Pain
I've had severe gastrointestinal pain and i had an upper endoscopy done. The doctor said that it doesn't look like my stoamch is making hardly any acid. If i drink fruit juices or things with natural acids in them it seems to help me digest a little better. i was wondering what a good approximation would be for how much of a high acid fruit juice i should drink each day to aid in my digestion.
Pernicious Anemia, atopic gastritis or radiation therapy may cause decreased acid in the stomach. Get upper GI scopy done and check for biopsy to confirm pathologically.
Use artificial enzymes with ginger extract or veneger may helpful. Pine apple, ginger cucumber, et cetera may use for to increase digestion.
Please consult your Gastroenterologist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
